Empowering Future Leaders

Our journey at GCBS started in 2018, our daughter, Lieschen joined the school in Grade 2. We visited a lot of schools before deciding on GCBS and we were sold on the school by the talented Ms. Rayna Bell, who works in the registration department. We were so nervous for our daughter, a new country, and a new school. Concerns of whether she was going to fit in because she was so shy and wouldn’t speak up if something was bothering her. The staff, however, was very welcoming and put our minds at ease and was always ready to assist us with anything we needed. She had a great teacher who kept us up to date with her progress and was just always so understanding. During the first parent meeting we went in their ready for feedback that she is quite and doesn’t participate as much but to our surprise, the teacher was raving of how confident Lieschen is and always ready to help her classmates. This is where we knew we found the right school. We have been so fortunate that all the teachers our daughter has had at the school, was and is just amazing, she loves all her teachers. She is very happy at GCBS. This is where she met her best friend. We are just so proud of how much she has grown personally and academically and for that we are thankful to GCBS for creating a safe environment for her to come out of her shell.
